You can subclass them and then add the subclasses to your forms dynamically, but you still have the original problem of having to have the exact version on the user's PC to work.

According to one of the articles, the license information that is stored in the SCX is also stored in the VCX (not PRG) when you subclass and save. Not much of a difference in the grand scheme of things. ;-)
