I guess I should have looked at the category before I posted my last reply.

I currently support (although I didn't develop it) a Computer Aided Dispatch system that was written in FPW 2.6. The main screen is a big two column list that displays calls in all sorts of different colors. You might want to look at using a list because I don't think the browse will work.
