I think what Yury is looking for is output that looks like an actual month calendar, with Sun-Sat as columns and boxes for each of the days with the information filled into the boxes.

It's possible to do with Report Writer, but it'll be a lot more complex than just grouping... i.e., lots of "Print When"'s attached to the lines that make the boxes depending on whether a month is 4 weeks long or 5 weeks long (or sometimes 6 weeks when a 31-day month starts on Sat), when the 1st day of the month falls, and when the last day of the month falls, and leap-year issues.

I wrote a utility to do this about 10 years ago that was available in the FOXFORUM in CompuServe, but it was done manually (via ?/?? output) rather than via the Report Writer. I don't even know if I still have it around anymore.

It would be a fun exercise to put together in the RW, but it won't be trivial.
