How true, the American form of the English language does have it’s differences from the original version. I love the line from the movie “My Fair Lady”, where Henry Higgins (Rex Harrison) is discussing (through song) the use of the English language. There is a line: “Why, the Americans have not used it in years”! That cracks me up!
