>I will not take it as insult. Admittedly, I do not know the Language Reference book from front to back. Also, I have seen many programming beats me. Addionally, my department has weird ideas (beyond mere namings, such theirs 'Esc' vs my 'Exit', theirs 'Find' vs my 'Locate'). On top of that, I have CodeMine that I have not even start studing. What you say? Lets just say "I am (me, Chuck) growing".

Why be insulted at all? I bought both "The Fundamentals" and "Hacker's Guide" (and lots of other VFP books), and benefitted from reading them, and re-reading them, and I use the Help files constantly. As far as labels, the app has to make sense to the end-user, so they get to specify the names and behaviors they want; it's what they pay for, at least in theory.
