Hmmmm.... That's a tantalyzing possibility.

I had an instance once where GETPRINTER() didn't work at a particular workstation (though there was at least one printer installed), but I had to race out the door and never discovered why it was the case. It wasn't a workstation that was going to use this particular app, so it's not an emergency, but I haven't been back since to follow up.

Let's see what else turns up on this thread.
