Well, if you want the record to physically exist there, use INSERT (not teh SQL one), otherwise, create an "Order" field, and sort your grid on that. Once the new record is added, if you tell it where you want it placed, a refresh() will refresh the sort on the grid and your record will be wher eyou want it.
