I haven't tried this, but what about using the FSO as follows (VFP):

oFSO = CREATEOBJ('Scripting.FileSystemObject')
oFSCRoot = oFSO.GetFolder('C:\')
FOR EACH oFolder IN oFSCRoot.SubFolders
   IF oFolder.Name = ' - '
      oFolder.Delete(.t.)
   ENDIF
ENDFOR
