I don't see what this would accomplish. The compiled code has to go somewhere, and all this would do is spread it between two files. It still would take up the same amount of diskspace, though.

Others have given you some more suggestions, but I wouldn't get hung up on how large your EXE is. These days, multi-megabyte EXEs are pretty common.
