The only other thing I can think of is maybe one of the message headers. For example, when I look at one of my rec'd msgs in Outlook that has HTML in it, the Content-Type header says "text/html" in it. I guess it's possible that Outlook might be deciding how to treat the display of the msg based on that but I can't be sure.
