The only thing that immediately comes to mind has to do with the size of the printable page and simple page overflow. Is there theoretically enough room at the bottom of the page of the DeskJet to print your totals (and any page footer)? Remember, the DeskJet has about 0.6in of unprintable area at the bottom of a page (whereas the LaserJet has only about 0.25in).
