I think that making the language consitant and modern is very important. I'm not saying start from scratch with VFP, but if they can make it look like they did, that would

A. make people move to OO if they haven't yet, which is very important today
B. give VFP a new look in the eye of managers, and almost market itself
C. it will be more welcoming to new users. The differences between the menu, reports, form, table, database and view designers makes the UI pretty hard to learn
