We are currently transfering VFP tables from remote locations via FTP. The FTP function is built into the VFP application at the remote site and does the transfer automatically every day. The FTP port 21 is not secure so the network folks are going to shut it down. We are currently running a netscape server on a unix box. What I hoped to do was to get the netscape server set up to provide an FTP SSL port using port 1500 and getting the VFP application to operate as an SSL client. It appears that the catalyst software may help me on the client end. The server end is still unclear. Thanks!
