Have you tried rebuilding the indexes in the underlying tables of the view? Do it by first removing the underlying tables from the database, then delete the table's index files, then create the indexes again, and finally adding the tables back into the database. That the more full proof way but more time consuming. You could start out by simply reindexing the underlying tables.
