I don't know about you, but my clients don't much like the idea of buying new machines when the old ones still work. In the most up-to-date places, users may get a new box every three years, but every five isn't unusual. Also, it's not uncommon for machines to flow downwards, so that a secretary has today the machine her boss used to use.

That's almost exactly what happens here. I'm currently running a PII 350. I've got a PIII 933 coming, and this box with flow...umm...downward as you mentioned.< s >
