>I got some problems like yours using Novell Network. I suggest you to take a look at Foxfix (
www.xitech-europe.co.uk), it's a very nice program that recover's corrupted VFP databases and free tables (work fine with FoxPro 2.x tables).
The best ultimate DBC-corruption fix is fairly simple, and costs absolutely nothing except a little time to shuffle files around (for existing apps).
For any server-based DBCs, and any tables that do not require direct user updates, keep them all in separate Read-Only (by Permissions) server directories. Under NTFS (at least) you can even set Permissions on the files individually without moving them, but it's a PITA and a bad policy, so I don't recommend it.
Anyway, this eliminates completely any user-related corruption problems for all the RO files.
