>Sorry: It is a VFP6 app with the service pack 4 and it is running Win98. The machine only crash in my app. The local printer is a dot-matrix and there are a few HP printers (with original driver) running on the network and accessible by this machine. FOr the antivirus, I will have to check.

Another common problem is video drivers. He should check to see that the one he is using is exactly correct and is the latest available.
