I am a big Codemine fan and have no problem whatsoever with the annual upgrade fee. I, like all other Codemine users, want to ensure that Soft Classics stay in business.
>I just hope there are more comments in the code in the new version, management here would not let me use the old version because of this.
I am testing V7 at the moment. The only beta documentation available at the moment is a 3 page word document! Therefore, I have had to rely on source code comments to utilise V7 and the sample app which has had some of the new V7 features applied to it. I personally find Dave's code clear, readable and well commented.
Are you saying that you currently don't use Codemine at the office because your employers feel that the Codemine framework source is insufficiently commented? Wow, I'm glad I work for myself <s>.
