True. It is not restricted to just textboxes. We've had the problem with combos also. There seemed to be a change in the way the controls interact when they(M$) upgraded from VFP5 to VFP6. Let's hope they fixed that in the latest upgrade to VFP7. If not, there is this little workaround.
