The main problem I've found with getting games to run on Windows 2000 was that the setup looks at the OS, and then refuses to load. It's not that the game wouldn't run on the OS (I'd bet it would), the setup just won't allow it.

I think that I read in the MSDN News that this problem was connected with the way the setup was checking the version number of Windows. Or am I thinking of something else?
