I checked with the client's network guy. He said there are several servers on the network and some are NT4.0 and some are Win/2000, but the server that my app runs on is NT4.0.
This is very confusing because it sometimes OS() sometimes returns NT 4.0 and sometimes Win/2000 (as I mentioned in the first message). I assumed that OS() is supposed to return the operating system on the workstation, not a server. Is my assumption correct? If not, how does OS() work?
