Kev;
Things are a little hot (busy) here right now, but I think the best thing for me to do is to zip up a few files and send them to you. It is best to start small, and learn as you go. What you are suggesting is how I started learning ASP, etc. Create a "Find" form, and launch a second form which processes a query. What you learn will become a building block and soon you can help others.
I think I have a copy of the VFP table I used with the forms I intend to send you, at home, but not at work. If not, you will hae to "roll your own" (create your own).
There are a number of good books on the market by Wrox, as an example, but nothing that is clear and straight to the point.
