>What I find weird is that it's always the same tables that italics... even when I open two tables at the same time, one will be and on won't.

My guess is that it was set to italics at one time for that table and the setting is saved in the resource file. Try this:

SET RESOURCE OFF
SELECT (TheItalicsTable)
BROWSE

Is it still in italics? If so, delete you FOXUSER.* files.

>>>Sometime, when you browse in a table or cursor, the font used is italic and sometime it is not... Why is it so? What condition must be met or not met to have an italic font or a non-italic font...
>>>I personnaly find the italic font a bit annoying because it often hide a part of a letter and make us wonder what it is...

>>In help there is a description of all the many clauses you can use with the browse command. But in general depending on the settings in the instance of VFP you are using the browse will use the browse clauses last used if set resource is on.
