Grid click, dblclick, rightclick fire when you click at a space where no other elements exist (ie: after last column or last row).
You could easily place a transparent shape, container object in front of grid to get all click events and propagate to target as your will (get coordinates, do whatever you want, set container to invisible, reclick, set container back to visible).
