XtreePro Gold was a "must have" utility for me in the days gone by. I especially liked the built-in hex editor, and the ability to do a text string search across directories (now folders in Windoz) When the version for windows was released, it lost its glitter, and then when Symantec acquired them, the product lost most of its usefulness as far as I am concerned. I have not seen any other product even come close since, although there are several wannabes out there as freewhare/shareware.
