I remember in FP-DOS we could take a BROWSE window, partition it, have certain fields (columns) display in the left pane, etc. I am now trying to do same in VFP, but have a question.

I have limited display area with only 5 columns showing, with the ability to change display order by clicking on the column headers, which is used by the IncrementalSearch text control. When the split bar is used and a column off the right of the grid is chosen to search on, it disappears as soon as the user types in the "Search" text box. Is there a way to keep (lock) the search column visible.
