I got the idea of static pages from
www.zdnet.com/swlib because i saw programs that created static pages from the results of SQL. I have not used any of the products, and there were several, but the idea was appealing. i want to publish ratings/ranking of players on the internet. the ratings and ranking are only updated twice a year so they are not dynamic. and i also did not want to become the support person for the ratings/ranking. so static pages, if it can be automated, sounded appealing.
