I've just set up my account here, and I was just browsing, when I saw your note. I'm attempting a reply, and if you're not the originator, mark it up to the rookie. Having said that...

I've done Fox since '89, and I have a year of Access 2 (not 95/97/whatever is next). With that background, I say that Access 2 is actually a decent language for small applications. Things snap together very quickly. But give it something it wasn't designed to do, and it gets frustrating.

Fox is great if you've got at least your own framework. You've sat down and put in the hard, up front work. There's nothing like putting an app together if you've got the classes put together already--like Access. But unlike Access, you can change your own classes. It's a great candidate for applications more complicated than basic.

My favorite is still Fox. (I'm saying that because it's true, not because I'm about to be stoned by every Fox person here.) My boss likes Access.
