On about half of ebay auction item pages nowadays, the description text does not show up in the innerText of any object on the page -- it is just plain text.

I was using wwwIPStuff to get the pictures, so I have set about using wwwIPStuff to get all the HTML code from auction item pages. I can then text parse the description and all the other information that I need.

This solution is less elegant, as it relies on a third party product. However, I do not know how to get plain text using just VFP. Any ideas?

On the pages that list items sold or for sale, all the information I want appears either in the innerText or innerHTML of some object, so I do not need a third party product there.

I think you first suggested that I look into using wwwIPStuff. Thanks again.
