You could either created your own app-level classes, or redefine the existing app-level classes to be subclassed from your common classes.

So then is the correct thing to do to create an "I" layer set of classes that mimicks the Generic "A" layer and then redefine the Generic "A" layer to be subclassed from that?

Should I use the Generic "A" layer to determine which classes to create in my "I" layer?

I feel like I'm just saying the same thing over and over again, but I want to make sure that when I start building my app level business objects, I do it right.

Thanks for your patience,

Steve
