If I need to see details, I expand it and edit away. Even with the code only partly expanded, I could see the structure and flow of the routine at that level, to validate that I'm in the right place. It would facilitate rapidly finding out things like "did I set that variable back up top?" without having to do nearly as much scrolling, and so on.

Bruce,
VFP 7 will be much more friendly. Until then you can get ClassNavigator from the Downloads section (http://www.levelextreme.com/wconnect/wc.dll?UniversalThread~?2,54,Forum=5,28,1359). I think it's great.
