>I think PCs are here to stay but there will be internet devices and PDAs as alternatives.<

We've just won a contract to do orthopaedic careplans using pdas. About 50 of them will be used to manage and streamline care. Anybody who has ever worked in the health arena will understand why this is happening in orthopaedics. Frankly, the PC is unsuitable.

As I said, it depends on the industry.

We're looking at WW for the server-side of our C/S application, ? syware for the client. Clients will not directly access the data directly at all though according to my understanding this is still a C/S application. This terminology confusion is presumably why people can say that C/s is "dead".

If anybody here wants to help get this going, give me a yell. You'll need to be in/come to the UK for ? a month, need to know something about pda (we're going with wireless ipaqs), need to be strong with WW.

Regards

JR

crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to

piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
