As Alex said, memory is the key.

My test machine has NT 4 SP5 runnning IIS4 and SQL Server 2000. All this is running on a Pentium MMX 150 MHz with 128 MB RAM. Once I put the memory in, most of my problems went away. I was getting Low Memory messages 4 or 5 times a day. SQL Server 2000 has been running for about 4 months. Before that, SQL Server 7 and the rest was running for 2 years.

BTW. this machine also runs Proxy Server and I have no complaints about response time.

Regards.
