>Hi everyone,

OOPS! I've done something similar before.

From IE, select View|Options and click on the File Types tab. If you don't see a registered file type labeled "Adobe Acrobat Document", click New Type. Otherwise select "Adobe" and Edit.

The setting should be:
Description of type: Adobe Acrobat Document
Content type: application/pdf
Default extension: .pdf
Be sure "Confirm after open" is checked.

Now for the hard part. You'll have to add each action ("New") and define each DDE command. To make it easier, just add "Open":
Application used: "D:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 4.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" "%1"
Check the "use DDE" option
DDE message: [FileOpenEx("%1")]
Application: acroview
Topic: control

Other boxes left alone. After you've added "open", set it to default.

I also have "print" and "printto" DDE actions, so if you need them "after the crunch" let me know.
