Dealing with cross platform issues between Win VFP 6, now 7, and non-MS supported Mac VFP 3 is a significant challenge. If the size of the project and others will support the investment of creating a framework to work on both, that may make VFP a viable option.

For large and complex applications, a cross-platform VFP is certainly worth a look -- even with the caveats.

I did see Mac VFP 3 on the resale market for $1995 recently. Apparently there's a demand -- enough for MS to give us a new version ?
