I close VFP and reboot the PC. Same thing. Yet, when I put SET STEP ON right before the troublesome code, it does it fine!?!?

The button/textbox works, it's the code that isn't running correctly w/o the Debugger ( ;-) from VFP itself). Does VFP 6.0 have feelings?

>Do you mean button doesn't work or textbox doesn't work? Try to restart VFP session (it should not make any difference, but just in case :)).
