I asked them before purchasing the product but they did not know how it would deal with VFP. It may be that they just did not understand my question. This is very possible as I probably did not explain it too well given my limited knowledge of the relationship (lack of) between windows controls and VFP controls.

They have an unconditional money-back guarantee so I just decided to buy-and-try.

I will e-mail the supplier again and tell them VFP controls are not based on windows controls (as per your earlier reply - thanx) and see if that helps or means a dead-end.

Unfortunately it looks like I might have to take advantage of that guarantee.
