I just put the source code on UT. It's very raw and very amateur, but I think everybody can figure out what the intent is. I can't remember what the title was, but the file name was wswrap.zip. It should be easy to locate under the Recent Entries section on the downloads page once it's posted.

>>I use the Microsoft Winsock Control to connect to a RemoteHost through whatever RemotePort I want (SMTP:25 in this case). I can then send email from VFP through this control and a use a routine to encode attachments in MIME quoted-printable. The only problem is that I couldn't evoke the Connect event on the control, so I had to build a VB wrapper. Otherwise, it works like a charm. I'd be happy to share my code/OCX with anyone.

>>>Your email really got me thinking about how I had used blat (the exe) so I finally started the process of converting to blat.dll this would bypass the need to configure mapi, or having a client installed with outlook. also emails could be configured to be sent with data from VFP. no matter what server they were connected to.
>>>I just posted a work in progress with three working class files, blat email, and install. Only one of them is necessary. the email, and install are just samples on how to work with blat.
>>>
>>>I would love to know anyone else had thoughts about this approach.
