>>>>I'm still creating programs in VFP 3.0b for Windows 3.1 and Windows 95. I find it extremely annoying that while disabled texts look fine in Windows 3.1, they look terrible in Windows 95. Windows 95 gives individual disabled characters a white boarder and this is carried through to VFP 3.0b when it's running under Windows 95. Is there a way to diable this particular method of displaying disabled characters either in Windows 95 or in VFP? Thanks!

>>>VFP gives you enough power to accomodate the problem. You can either play with DisabledBack/ForeColor properties, or use ReadOnly property instead of Enabled.

>>Yes I can change the color of disabled texts, but someone, either Windows95 or VFP, is also adding a thin white boarder to any disabled text as well. I think the intent is to give disabled texts a sunken look. I'm just looking for a easy way to stop either Windows 95 or VFP from doing this. I tend to think the culprit is Windows 95 since I don't have the same problem in Windows 3.1.

Thanks for the suggestion.
