>>>It's hard to visualize what exactly has happened to your project, but you could try the following and it should get you through this...
>>>Remove the database from your project. If you do not need them anymore, delete the old copies of the tables, the database, and their indexes from the old directories. Open the database in the new directory (OPEN DATA mydbc EXCL), and issue Validate Database Recover. This command makes sure that all of the tables in the dbc are really in the paths that it thinks that they are in. If they are not, you will get a message and be promted to locate the tables. After you VALIDATE and fix any problems that it advises you of, add the database back into the project. After you have done this (or if you already have), please post the error messages (if any) that you get. HTH.

Sorry I wasn't specific. I appreciate your help.

I start foxpro, start the project, select docs, select my main form and click on run. The message immediately comes up. Table 'timinput.dbf' is not marked as belonging to the 'timekeep' database. Would you like to create the back link to mark it?

I can go in remove the database, "OPEN DATA timekeep EXCL" and issue VALIDATE DATABASE RECOVER in the command box
add the database to the project and my form works.

However, when I get out of VFP and get back in, start the project etc I get the same message as above. It is as if it doesn't save the link. In this process of errors I have found several ways to readd my database, table, views, but every way loses the link when I get out of VFP.

Hope this gives you the information you need. Thanks again.
Barbara
