Yup, I thought about that yesterday when I read this thread. Basically, it gets complicated when you include some javascript syntax in what you have to return. I faced some situations where I had the quote, the double quote and another delimiter in the string at the same time which was making it difficult to find the proper syntax. Someone helped me here by sending me the proper syntax in javascript to include delimiter character in a string which was making it easy for VFP to send a standard syntax.
