Should have no effect

Also, would it have any serious effect if an application from Visual Fox 6 created on a Windows 2000 Pro OS was to be run on a Win98/Win95B computer.

Definitely no effect for Win98. Shouldn't on Win95B either but not sure. At very least DCOM98 should be installed on Win95B box.
