I searched 'dot prompt', as that is what my old emulator was called, and I thought I searched command window too, but , oh I remember, I got a weird server error about a bad html header !

I downloaded the file, the code Mark supplied is so simple I can embed it into apps easily enough, the one you suggested I think I'll compile as a stand alone.
