I got a mailing a few weeks ago saying Quicken/Quick Books was finally supporting add-ons and vertical products , and that there was info at their web site! It isn't on the top ten list for me yet, but I have proposed some links to a couple of clients.

Considerning that Quicken 2000 can't even memorize my SPLIT transactions properly, I don't have high hopes, but with some pre-processing, I think QB can be made to do what I need!

( Q2000 loses the sales taxes! A real nuisance when you get a tax credit for sales taxes! )

My concept was to EXPORT the quicken file, use it to create a lookup table, and then export the data one line at a time, validated using the lookup table, preferably exporting in summary form. My clients do NOT want clicken to track detail info, just cash transactions, so it makes life a lot easier!
