I'm just beginning to play around with Visual Basic, and I was trying to test some ADO examples, but I'm getting a compile error whenever I try to create an ADO connection as in:

Dim cnNWind As New ADODB.Connection

I get the error:

Compile Error:
User defined-type not defined

I'm using VB6 SP4, and I'm creating ADO connections and recordsets in VFP on this same machine with no problems, any help would be appreciated, TIA
