Modano went out early in Game 1 with a badly hurt ankle. He could not even skate yesterday morning, so Game 3 is questionable. The second line center is not well but he sucked it up, then our 3rd center went out in the first period with a broken jaw [got hit by a shot puck]. Then a winger was lost in the game. Hard to play when you are 3 guys down. Remarkably that is not what beat them. Two enormous mistakes in the first 10 minutes killed them. After that, the Blues could do nothing the rest of the game. Unfortunately, the missing players did severely hurt their offense.
