Cathy,
>>>Now the real trick would be to get real Corvettes to use in the photo shoot.

>>And keep I presume? <g>

>>I've never been much of a corvette fan but give me a good open road sports car or one of the newer high end Volvos, BMWs or the like and you have my attention... <g>

>I've been a Corvette fan my entire life! From the time I was a child, my Dad has always had at least one Corvette. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be an '81 because I love the lines of the long curvy front end ... totally sexy in my book!
Understood. I like the same look. Like the old Jaguar XKE or the 65/66 Ferrari GTS. My Volvo is a '95 960 and I really like the lines. My first experience learning to drive was in my cousin pete's MGB-GT fastback. Same look, so I totally understand. They have just never hit me the way some of the European autos have - but I
totally understand the fever. <g>
I always enjoyed circuit racing rather than demonstrations of raw straignt-line or oval 'type' racing for probably the same reasons.
For the real 'junkie', in Orange County is the Briggs Cunningham auto museum. It'd be a full day trip and maybe there is an equivilent in San Diego but it is fun...
Best,
DD
