Ok, I know this shouldn't be an issue these days but I've got a contract for a banking firm and they seem to enjoy using really old technology.
Anyway, I've managed to create a set of 16-bit and a 32-bit thunk dlls to translate the calls and that works fine.
The problem is when I try to instantiate the DCOM object from the 32-bit dll. The whole thing just freezes and I have to kill the ntvdm thread in task manager.
Does anyone have any idea why? Is it something to do with the dlls running in the context of the 16-bit app?

Please help,

Thanks
