The casing, I suspect, is what folks would use when they think of the Roman Catholics but I'd suspect you're correct in your assertion that it is not specific to a particular 'brand', though that particular brand might object vigorously having gained marketing immortality along with Kleenex, Coke and Jacuzzi. <g>
