My questions are:

1. Was this a pre-existing install of a VFP 3 EXE or new?

2. If pre-existing, what has changed recently on all three systems.

3. If new installation, you say you have "like" machines running the same software in a "like" remote environment. Still, the questions follow: a) What are the hardware differences between the machines, and b) what are the operating system differences? It only stands to reason that if the software is identicle that something in the hardware or OS is not the same. Thus, I would be looking here first and the specialized configurations second. Furthermore, if the existing installations require no special VFP configuration settings then all the more to think that something in either hardware or OS has changed.

It seems to me you have two options:

1. Discover the hardware or OS differences and bring them into line with the other machines where the software is running fine.

2. If the hardware or OS cannot be changed to better fit the software, then your only option is to adjust the configuration of VFP to work with the hardware/OS environment. Others here have presented you with some options where memory management and VFP are configurable. Some other things to look at:
